About

I love to experience new technologies, hardware as well as software. I am a conscientious person who works hard to get the right/best result, depending on the deadline. In the meantime, I consider coding as an art. It is personal and it should beautiful to ourselves yet readable for the others. I am autodidact as well as flexible, I can learn new languages with ease.

Work Experience

Work Experience

  • Head of Robotics

    Aug, 2019 - Present

As the head of robotics, I build and manage the Robotics & IoT teams and projects as well as continuing to develop the platform. I work in the navigation, sensor drivers & integration, high-performance IPC stack and the cloud platform integration.

  • Lead Robotics Engineer

    Feb, 2017 - Aug, 20192 years 5 months

As the Lead Robotics Engineer, I lead the robotics team to develop autonomous robots according to the client needs and company requirements. As the Architect, I design both the software, the embedded hardware architecture and the network architecture to provide a modular autonomy to the robots and an easy to use Platform API.

    • The disruptive innovation award, Techworks 2017

    • Best MEC use-case, MEC Congress 2017

    • The Postal Innovation award, PostExpo 2017

    • Sorting Center Innovation of the Year: Autonomous sorting, PostExpo 2018

  • Robotics Engineer

    Oct, 2015 - Dec, 20161 year 3 months

In collaboration with the MIT (Boston, MA), the UCL (Belgium) have the project to build with multicopters and ground robots. I made a task-based abstraction layer, as well as a localization system, to allow Masters & PhD students to test their contributions on the multicopters in real conditions.

  • Invited Researcher

    Jul, 2016 - Aug, 20162 months

Invited two months at the MIT as part of my thesis on UAV autonomous control. During those 2 months, I added the RTK-based localization.

  • Full Stack Engineer

    Feb, 2015 - Jun, 20155 months

Open-source solution to manage exams copies and to generate pre-filled and ready-to-print PDF files for the exams. This has been developed in collaboration with Sébastien Combéfis (ECAM lecturer). ECM is in use since June 2015.
